Footage posted to Twitter shows people applauding for the country’s longest-serving leader as his hearse drives by. According to NHK, a private funeral took place at Zojo-ji Temple and a convoy drove Abe’s remains past the prime minister’s office and Liberal Democratic Party headquarters.
